Foam

Foam, commonly known as sponge or polyurethane foam, is a lightweight and flexible material used widely in mattresses, cushions, and seating products. It comes in various densities and firmness levels, providing adaptable support and comfort.

Visco foam, also known as viscoelastic foam, was originally developed by NASA in the ninetysixties for space programs. It responds to body heat and weight, distributing pressure evenly and reducing stress points for enhanced comfort.

Memory Foam is the most widely known commercial version of visco foam, also called “memory sponge.” It molds to the body’s shape with temperature and weight, and slowly returns to its original form. This provides personalized comfort and orthopedic support.
